  • Nothing too exciting yesterday.  They poured our driveway...we can't drive on it for two weeks though.  The yard is all botched up now.

I mowed the yard yesterday and went for a run.

I went to bed too late and had trouble waking up.

Today I  have a doctor appointment.  I also need to go get a new concealed carry permit...I was an idiot and let mine expire last week.

    Nothing else super-exciting.

What in the heck is up with gas prices?  They went up $.20 yesterday to $3.66.  Has the gas prices started to affect any of your decisions?  I just wish that I could shower when I get to work, because if that was the case I would so start riding my bike to work.  Maybe I should get a moped.  HAHA, could you imagine my goofy ass on a moped!

Ok, that's it for now.  I'm still planning an essay....but that will be later.

  • Well, I definitely plan out where I'm going now and when, and have to allot a set amount of money for gas (which keeps growing and if I don't happen to have said money for gas, I just don't go..)

And don't worry- Ed keeps hitting me up to let him get a motorcycle or a moped to drive to work every day. I just think he wants a new toy, but he's still saying it under the guise of better gas milage.

  • Our prices are 3.71 and rise 10 cents every few days! i want my family to start riding bikes!

  • I was so excited to get your message!  Good for you and Amanda.  You guys should definitely check out the tracker site I'm on (http://www.bodyforlife-tracker.com).  Those people have kept me motivated every single day and going even when I thought I was going to just quit.  I'm on Week 7, right now, but I've had a lethargic day today.  Blaine opens the windows every single night and then he never closes them before he goes to work and it just makes me feel sick.  I was sneezing my head off this morning.  I'll have to remind him to shut the darn window.

I totally forgot that posting those pics of my graphs was going to go on my photo blog!  LOL - I had actually saved those to go with my next fit post.  You are so right about the free days.  It's so funny...you see them go from nearing 3,000 calories every Sunday declining because I finally started realizing how much harder I had to work just to knock off the extra pounds those free days tacked on.  I still love my free days...only I'm slowly scaling them down.  I'm going to get down to fitness competition shape and then I'll probably revert to crazy free days again (or maybe not if I get up the courage to compete)...but this time, I think I'm going to stick to eating and exercising BFL-style every day.  It's now become a habit that I think I would hate to break.  It's still not totally second nature to remove my butt from the couch, but it's getting there.

Do you guys have the book?  I loved the book.  It's a really easy read, but full of positive motivation.  I just found out yesterday that the author donated all the proceeds from the book to the 'Make a Wish Foundation' and that he was named one of the most generous business owners years ago for raising millions for the Make a Wish foundation.  Pretty cool.

  • hi stranger!  just wanted to visit and see how everything is in your world.  we are enjoying life with a babe :)   i hope to post more regularly . . . but don't hold your breath ;)
