What in the heck makes me suddenly have a night full of lucid dreams? I dream most nights but most of them are pretty uneventful, then last night I had non-stop lucid dreams. I’m talking crystal clear dreams that could be mistaken for real life. I used to have more frequent lucid dreams but lately it’s been more and more infrequent. In the dream that I remember most vividly (also the final dream before waking up), I was escaping prison. Well, technically I escaped pretty early on in the dream and was on the fun for most of it. The funny thing was that in this dream I ‘knew’ a couple of other people in the dream. Usually my dreams are full of random people but last night I was on the run with the guys from ‘Prison Break’.
Yeah, yeah, yeah, I know that’s cheesy but that’s who I was on the run with. No, we didn’t get caught, although we did go to Disney World to meet up with someone. I guess that is where everyone that escapes from prison goes…kind of like you’ve won the Super Bowl.
According to the dream interpretation stuff that I read escaping from prison is a pretty good dream.

Nothing exciting this weekend. The weather was bleh so I didn’t get to do anything that I wanted to outside.
On Friday nothing exciting.
On Saturday we met up with friends. We conversed, ate, and drank. It was fun.
On Sunday I ate breakfast with Amanda and two people that she worked with, that was nice. In the evening we ate sushi.
That was our weekend, it was pretty uneventful.
I watched two movies.
The first was ‘I am Legend’. Amanda and I watched it in the theater, I thought that it was pretty good but then again I’ve always been a sucker for zombie movies. Back in the day, I used to rewatch movies quite regularly but lately I don’t do that very often. This was the first intentional repeat in a long time. When I popped the blu-ray disc in the drive it offered me the chance to watch the theatrical version or the alternate version. I figured what the heck, and watched the alternate version.
Let me just say, that if they would have used this version in the theater it would have received much better reviews. I don’t want to spoil anything but it really wrapped things up much nicer.
I also watched ‘No Country for Old Men’. I thought that it was good, but I’m glad that Amanda didn’t watch it because she definitely would have been disapppointed.
Ok, that’s my weekend.

have you ever had a dream where you knew you were dreaming and you controlled it? i’ve had dreams where i knew i was dreaming so i woke myself up because they weren’t good dreams.
now i’m curious and i’m going to have to watch the alternate version of i am legend. it was a good movie but since i don’t watch those kind of movies anymore, it really freaked me out!
i need to catch up on the movies…
I haven’t seen either of those movies. I’ve rented “I am legend” before but never watched.
