Good evening everyone, this probably won't be too exciting of an update, but I wanted to put something up here, so here goes.
I'm finally recovering from my dentist visit. Thankfully the next day I didn't need to take any pain medicine (except for some advil in the morning), so that was a pretty big improvement. It is starting to feel pretty normal, but I think that my bite may be off a little bit, but we'll know for sure once it starts to feel a little less sensitive. Speaking of sensitive, the dentist was sure right that I would have hot/cold sensitivity for awhile afterwards, just sucking in air makes it hurt!
Ok, enough talking about teeth. Yesterday I didn't do much of anything since Amanda worked late. I pretty much was lazy and played with the doggy. He is so much fun, I love his little doggy personality. I did finally get my birthday present. The company was exceptionally slow sending it out. It is a Medicus golf club swing trainer. If you don't golf you probably have no idea what the heck it is, but basically it is a golf club that if don't swing absolutely perfect it 'breaks' to tell you that you did something wrong. The though being that if you practice with this thing it will help to build up muscle memory. We'll see how much it helps my golf game, because frankly, I need all the help that I can get!
Today was a day devoted to getting a house. We sat down with one of the builders that we both liked and priced out a place. It is kind of scary to pick out what you want and just hear the cha-ching of money adding up. Seriously, an upgraded fancy bathroom runs over $5000!!!! Isn't that crazy! I just kept relating the upgrades to stuff that I have or bought before. It ended up being about what I was expecting for a house, but it is still so much money. I really need to figure out a budget and see what we are capable of really buying. I don't want to buy too much house and end up as broke as I was for the last 8 or so years.
Tomorrow is a rehearsal (and dinner) for a wedding. I have drill this weekend, but thankfully am going to be split training. I'm probably going to go in Sunday so that I only have to make up one day, so that will be kind of nice. I haven't been to a drill in 7 months or so, it will be a nice change of pace. Unfortunately with as busy as the weekend is, that means that this weekend will be going fast and that will just stink. I love for weekends to last a long time...I need a nice relaxing weekend, especially since last weekend ( the long holiday weekend) was cut short by Amanda having to rush off to work early Monday morning. Hell, I won't get that 'long' weekend until October since every weekend in September is wedding related. First weekend bachelor part, second weekend wedding, third weekend bachelor party, fourth weekend wedding, and the last weekend a wedding. Come on people, there are 11 other months in the year to get married!!! I'm just glad that no one else picked our month
Ok, time to go to bed and read a book. I'm going to set my alarm nice and early to go running, but I'm probably not going to get up and go. Why is it that I can get up no problem while doing Army stuff but put me in my bed at home and I can't get up to save my life? 'Night!
