After days of preparations and evacuations, Gustav finally is minutes away from making landfall. It looks like it has slowed down to a Category 2, and it hit west of New Orleans. So far the storm surge in New Orleans has only been about 4 feet, so it looks like the Big Easy may make it through this.
The storm though, is coming ashore on one of the major oil hubs of the country, where 56 percent of all the oil entering the country goes through.
